London born Josie is a contemporary Jewellery & Metalworker who crafts unique handmade jewellery by casting into vegetables, enamelling with kaleidoscopic colours and creating homes for foraged seaside stones.
"I like to think and work with my hands - allowing the making and experimenting to hold a pivotal role in the outcome of a finished design. I am inspired by natural forms, shadow & light; and the colourful paintings of artists such as Kandinsky, Peter Doig and Joan Miró.
With a variation of materials including silver, vitreous enamel, jesmonite, precious and non-precious stones; I create mini artworks to be worn upon the body. As well as a collection of ready-to-wear pieces, I also take commissions where you can work with me to bring your own bespoke piece of jewellery to life."
